This is a pretty good treatment of the thinking that went on behind the scenes of movies like "Prom Night", "Friday the 13th", "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and others. The great thing is that the cool stories and insights are told by the key players involved (directors, producers, special effects artists). You get to hear not only their thoughts on the psychology involved, but also about the marketing struggles they had to deal with.

Essentially, this is a documentary which interweaves present-day interviews with film clips from classic 80's horror flicks to give you a behind the scenes look at a genre during its peak period of interest. If you're a horror fan, you'll probably like watching this.

dated now but still funny in a "hugh" kind of way - enjoyable though worth watching on a sunday afternoon.

as you would expect I guess - predictable - with some Cagey thrown in - only saving feature -

what a film - you start watching this after hearing what a good film - and really are scratching your head like WTF. Then suddenly it all starts up - WOO is all I can say - WATCH AND ENJOY!

this is undoubtabley the best argument I have heard/seen - against and for steriods. i.e. remember rocky 4 - stallone Vs the Russian. Our hero trains hardcore in the snow - whilst Dolf is fueled with steriods. Who did we route for? Who was our hero? - Who was on steriods - really...SLY was.... Great stuff - best documentary of 2008 by far.

brilliant tale well acted and full of emotion. For anyone that would love to talk to a lost loved one - well done throughout loved it (sniff, sniff)

good little film- great mood setter - alittle bizarre and a few loose ends that never really get answered - but well worth sitting and watching.

okay could have been better overshadowed by other films - OST is the best feature - espically the Ice's input.

woo near to the bone ghetto movie. strong performances and not to hippity - hoppity - more in your face ganagster rap - top stuff.
